Three years later, the company introduced the GeoSpring line of hybrid electric water heaters, which also became the first to be EnergyStar-qualified water heater manufactured in the US. Thanks to its certified energy efficient design, the line saves an average of $325 every year on utility bills.

This 36 gallon electric water heater has a First Hour Rating or First Hour Delivery of 56 gallons. It is 27″ in diameter and only 32-3/4″ high (34-1/4″ to top of water connections), making it ideal for tight spaces where height is an issue. 

The water is heated using two 4500 Watt elements that uses 240 Volt electricity. It has 2.75″ insulation to help reduce heat loss, resulting in less energy consumption and improved performance. The unit ships with a 120°F factory default temperature setting, it is adjustable from 90° – 150°.

This 50 gallon real capacity hot water heater has flexible capacity up to 80 gallons. It allows users to choose from three capacity settings to enjoy up to 60% additional hot water when needed, versus comparable water heaters without mixing a valve at 120°F set and 58°F water temperature. 

There are three settings, based on 120°F default outlet temp, which include Normal: no increase in hot water capacity; High, which increases water capacity up to 40%, and X-High which increases hot water capacity up to 60%.

These are ideal for supplemental heating, remote areas of a home that are far from the main water heater, or commercial applications with limited water needs. They provide on-demand hot water with a minimal space-saving installation footprint.
