When it comes to heaters, few brands can boast the same level of experience as Reznor. Ever since it started in 1888, Reznor HVAC has 130 years of rich history making HVAC products, both for residential and industrial use.
The company has built a reputation for high-quality and reliable products covering heating, cooling and ventilation needs. More than just a leading brand, Reznor founded several industry firsts, such as the first gas-fired unit heater in the US in 1920, as well as the first gas-fired industrial heater in 1935.
Reznor’s Garage Heaters
Reznor’s products have a well-deserved reputation for rugged reliability and longevity, and their garage heaters are no exception. Our Reznor garage heater lineup comes in a wide range of BTU models to suit different spaces, from 30,000 all the way to 400,000 BTU and options for both residential and commercial applications.
Each heater also boasts a sleek build and redesigned heat exchangers that offer industry-leading performance, worthy of the storied brand.

Static Pressure
Static pressure is basically the air resistance in the space to be heated.
A high-static area is one where there is higher air resistance, due to the inherent design of the room, filters, or ductwork. This requires a high-static heater to service the space more efficiently.
A low-static area is one with low airflow, due to tighter home envelopes or oversized trunk lines. A low-static heater is enough for such spaces.
Fan type
An axial fan is one where the blades spin around a central shaft to pull in air. They generally have a high flow rate, but low pressure. They also require less power to run.
A blower or centrifugal fan works differently: it pulls in air from a side intake and blows it out through a 90-degree angle duct. The result is a lower flow rate due to the ductwork, but higher airflow pressure. This allows them to generate a steadier flow of air at the cost of higher energy consumption.
Our Reznor Garage Heater Selection
For small spaces and single carports
Reznor UDX-30 and UDX-45 Power Vented Gas Fired Unit Heater
These single-stage gas-fired heaters boast a best-in-class 82% thermal efficiency, thanks to Reznor’s patented heat exchangers made of titanium-stabilized aluminized steel. A newly designed circuit board allows for fan-only operation without the need to add relays.
All these are packaged in a sleek design that does away with messy hardware: everything is hidden behind an easily accessible hinged door, while external LED lights indicate the unit’s status.
The UDX-30 has a 30,000 BTU output, while the UDX-45 is good for up to 45,000 BTU.

For medium spaces and garages
Reznor UDX-60 and UDX-75 Power Vented Gas Fired Unit Heaters
Like their lower BTU cousins, these higher capacity single-burner unit heaters have the best-in-class thermal efficiency rating (82-83%).
Installation is a breeze: the gas line input is located on the backside for convenient connection, and the whole unit can be installed from 2 or 4 suspension points, or mounted on the ceiling with an optional hanger kit.
The UDX-60 is capable of 60,000 BTU, while the UDX-75 goes up to 75,000 BTU.

For larger spaces and multi-car garages
Reznor UDX-100 and UDX-125 Power Vented Gas Fired Unit Heaters
Like the rest of the UDX lineup, these high BTU unit heaters have industry leading thermal efficiency ratings thanks to Reznor’s unmatched heat exchangers and proprietary design.
The UDX-125 represents the upper limit for residential spaces, but UDX heaters that can output 150,000 BTUs and up are also available for commercial applications.
The UDX-100 can go up to 100,000 BTU, while the UDX-125 is good for up to 125,000 BTU.

For commercial and industrial applications
Reznor UDX-125 to UDX-400 Power Vented Gas Fired Unit Heaters
For larger spaces that require reliable heating, Reznor remains one of the most trusted names. The UDX line can go all the way up to a mammoth 400,000 BTU.
For such demanding applications, Reznor’s reputation for reliability matters. The stock Core² titanium-stabilized aluminized steel heat exchanger can be upgraded to 316 or 409 stainless steel for ultra heavy-duty applications.
The blower has a full fan guard, and the unit comes with a host of safety features such as internal overload protection for the fan, multi-try direct spark ignition with timed lockout, and a sleek one-piece design that hides all hardware inside the rugged chassis.
Here are the Reznor unit heaters we carry for commercial and industrial applications:
Model | Capacity |
UDX-125 | 125,000 BTU |
UDX-150 | 150,000 BTU |
